About Hotel Zugspitze
Hotel Zugspitze stands on Klammstraße in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Its sauna and bathing area covers 1,000 m², with a 9 × 5 m pool, a whirlpool, a Finnish sauna and a sanarium, and its restaurants (the Joseph Naus Stub’n, the Zugspitz Stad’l and the Wank Stub’n) cook regional produce.
In the heart of Garmisch
The hotel stands at Klammstraße 19, in the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with the Wetterstein range filling the view from many rooms.
The spa
The sauna and bathing area covers 1,000 m². The pool measures 9 by 5 metres, with a counter-current for swimming, and there is a whirlpool, a Finnish sauna and a sanarium, a plunge pool and a sauna terrace for cooling off, and a relaxation area with loungers for singles and couples. A gym and spa extras complete it.

Rooms and suites
There are eight categories. Economy rooms (20 m²) face the inner courtyard; Standard rooms and Maisonettes (27 m²) have limited mountain views; Comfort (30 m²) and Superior (35 m²) rooms have balconies facing the Wetterstein. On the third floor, Junior Suites (45 m²) look to the Wetterstein or the Kramer, and the Suite (60 m²) and Suite Zugspitze (90 m²) have large balconies facing the Wetterstein.
Eating and drinking
The kitchen cooks regional, seasonal dishes: vegetables from Ohlstadt, meat from Oberammergau and fish from Upper Bavarian and Tyrolean lakes. The Joseph Naus Stub’n serves the full menu from 18.00 to 20.30, the Zugspitz Stad’l serves Bavarian dishes and set lunches from 12.00 to 14.00, and there is also the Wank Stub’n.
Our advice: book a Superior room or a third-floor suite for the Wetterstein balcony, swim after the slopes, and reserve the Joseph Naus Stub’n for dinner.
