HUUS Gstaad looks out over the Saanenland from its rooms and balconies above Saanen. It has a 135 m² heated indoor pool, a spa and a 24-hour gym, La Vue restaurant, a sushi bar and wine lounge, its own ski and bike shop and a kids’ spa.

Above Saanen

HUUS stands above Saanen, a few minutes from Gstaad, with views across the Saanenland. Its motto is comfort, taste and adventure, and the hotel is built for active days: there is a ski and bike shop in the house, and every room comes with a HUUS backpack.

Pool, spa and gym

The heated indoor pool measures 135 m², with large panoramic windows, loungers and a sundeck. The spa has a Finnish panorama sauna, an ambient sauna and a steam bath, with a rain shower, an ice fountain, a spa lounge and a massage room. Younger guests have their own kids’ spa in the pool area, with a shower cave and a climbing wall. The gym, on the third floor, is open 24 hours with Technogym machines.

Rooms

Rooms face north or south, in stone and wood, with large windows, Hästens beds and Nespresso machines. Ask for a south-facing room for the sun and the view.

Eating and drinking

La Vue is the à la carte restaurant with a wine list; the Bar & Terrace serves bar food; HUUS Sushi brings Japanese food to the mountains; and the HUUS Wine Lounge is the evening corner. Across the menus you will find Italian and Mediterranean cooking, traditional fondue and vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Our advice: book a south-facing double, hire skis in the house shop the night before, and end the day in the panoramic pool.
