About Levi Igloos Golden Crown
Levi Igloos Golden Crown has 27 glass igloos on the slopes of Utsuvaara, at 340 metres and about 10 km from Levi village. The three 53 m² Suite Igloos have a private terrace with an outdoor hot tub, the Northern Lights House sleeps six with its own sauna, and Restaurant Utsu, under a glass roof, serves refined Nordic food.
On Utsuvaara
The igloos stand high on the slopes of Utsuvaara, at 340 metres, about 10 km from Levi village, looking over the valley and the northern sky. The resort opens from September to April: Tuesday to Saturday in September and October, then daily from early November until mid-April.
Saunas and hot tubs
Private sauna sessions with a hot tub under the sky are booked in two-hour slots through the day, from 9am to 8pm. The Suite Igloos have their own outdoor hot tub on a private terrace, and the Northern Lights House has a private sauna and a terrace hot tub.

The igloos
There are 27 glass igloos. Superior Igloos are cosy and quiet, with open views of the Arctic sky, for couples or small families. Prime Superior Igloos stand in or just behind the front row, looking over the valley or towards the forest. The three Suite Igloos, 53 m² each, sleep two adults and two children under 13, with a king-size bed, a lounge with aurora-inspired lighting, a small kitchen, a design bathroom and a champagne welcome; a Northern Lights alert can wake you. The Northern Lights House, with landscape windows, takes up to six.
Restaurant Utsu
Utsu, the resort’s only restaurant, sits under a glass roof with panoramic fell views and cooks refined Nordic food from local Arctic ingredients. Dinner is a seasonal multi-course menu, Tuesday to Saturday, 5.30–10pm; a table-served lunch runs in the peak season, December to April. Breakfast, included in the stay, mixes Nordic flavours and classics.
Our advice: book a Suite Igloo, sign up for the Northern Lights alert, and reserve a sauna slot at 6pm before dinner at Utsu.
