About rocksresort
rocksresort is a car-free village of 248 modern apartments at the valley station of the LAAX ski area, with the gondola at its doorstep. Around it are eight restaurants, six bars and nine shops, a day nursery for children, and signinawellness, the pool and sauna next door, at reduced rates for rocksresort guests.
At the foot of the gondola
rocksresort stands directly at the LAAX valley station, so the gondola that carries you up the mountain is at your door. It is an apartment resort rather than a hotel: 248 modern apartments of different sizes, with a resort village of shops, restaurants and bars around a central square.
Pool and sauna
There is no spa inside the resort itself. Guests use signinawellness, at the signinahotel next door, at reduced rates: a 12.5-metre indoor pool at 30 °C with bubble loungers and a waterfall, a 90 °C Finnish sauna, a 55 °C biosauna, an infrared cabin and a 45 °C steam bath.

Eating and drinking
The choice is wide: eight restaurants and six bars. Casa Veglia serves Swiss food (fondue, Älplermagronen and crispy basket chicken), Ristorante Camino homemade pasta and wood-fired pizza, MULANIA a French-style brasserie with sea fish, and IKIGAI pan-Asian dishes. Tegia Larnags, by the valley station, does high-end Swiss cooking with a sun terrace, Grandis Ustria da Vin pours from a list of more than 1,000 wines, and Riders Restaurant is vegetarian and vegan.
Families
rocksresort is made for families. There is a day nursery, a treasure hunt and syrup pass for children, and in summer the rocksresort park has a pump track, snake run, surf wave and trampolines. Guests also ride the Flims Laax local buses at no charge.
Our advice: book an apartment large enough to cook in, ski from the door, and book Casa Veglia for fondue and Tegia Larnags for the sun terrace.
