Camana Veglia has served Livigno since 1972 and is now run by Mattia and Silvia. It is a small house of twelve rooms, some with whirlpool tubs or infrared saunas, five minutes from the centre and three from the slopes, with a gastronomic restaurant of artisan cooking and a partnership with Aquagranda, the town’s big wellness centre.

A house with a history

Camana Veglia has been part of Livigno since 1972, and the house has kept its passion, history and character for half a century. Today it is run as a family home by Mattia and Silvia. The hotel is five minutes from the centre of the village and three minutes from the slopes.

Wellness

Camana Veglia has no spa of its own. Instead, several rooms bring wellness inside: some have an infrared sauna, some a whirlpool tub, some a hydro-jet shower. For pools and saunas, the hotel is a partner of Aquagranda, Livigno’s 10,000 m² wellness centre, which describes itself as the highest in Europe.

“Time is the best luxury we can give ourselves,” in the house’s words.

Rooms

There are twelve rooms over two floors, served by a lift. Comfort and Superior rooms are for two, some with a whirlpool tub and some with a balcony; the Superior Triple has a whirlpool tub and balcony; and the Premium and Deluxe rooms take up to four, the Deluxe being the most spacious, with a whirlpool tub.

The restaurant

The restaurant is the heart of the house: gastronomic, artisan cooking built on raw ingredients. Breakfast is à la carte and made in-house.

Our advice: ask for the Deluxe room with balcony and whirlpool, book dinner in the restaurant on your first night, and spend a rest day at Aquagranda.
