About Armchair Books
Armchair Books opened in Whistler Village in 1982, when Hazel Ellis filled a tiny 300-square-foot space with books in one of the village’s first buildings. Her son Dan took it over in 1999 and Sarah Temporale runs it today; it is Whistler’s only bookstore.
