About Grand Lodge on Peak 7
Grand Lodge on Peak 7 stands at the base of Peak 7, steps from the Independence SuperChair and on the BreckConnect Gondola route to Peak 8 and town. Its residences come with kitchens and balconies, and the resort adds Soothe Spa, a large aquatics area, a fitness centre, private cinemas and Bar Down Tavern.
At the base of Peak 7
The Grand Lodge sits at the foot of Peak 7, steps from the Independence SuperChair and its access to more than 2,200 acres of terrain. It also stands at the Peak 7 turn station of the BreckConnect Gondola, which runs to Peak 8 and down to historic Breckenridge. Inside, a waterfall cascades down aspen-lined walls to the Grand Staircase and the Grand Lobby, with its fireplace and après-ski bar.
Soothe Spa and the grotto
Soothe Spa, open all year, offers massages, body treatments, skincare, waxing and nail care. Spa guests relax in the Comfort Room and in the grotto, open from 8am to 10pm, with a saltwater hot tub and waterfall, a eucalyptus-infused steam room and a cedar sauna. Anyone booked for a treatment may use the fitness centre that day.

Pools and fitness
Two outdoor pools have a water slide, a waterfall splash area and a fountain; the large indoor/outdoor pool connects to an indoor children’s pool with water features. Landscaped hot tubs and an adults-only relaxation area complete the aquatics, open from 9am to 10pm; children under 12 must be with an adult. The fitness centre, open from 5am to 10pm, uses Technogym equipment and has big mountain views.
The residences
Suite residences are about 400 sq ft, with a kitchenette; one-bedroom residences about 800 sq ft, with a full kitchen, gas fireplace, washer/dryer and private balcony; two-bedroom residences about 1,200 sq ft; and three-bedroom residences about 1,600 sq ft, made up of a one-bedroom residence and two lock-off suites. Four-bedroom residences are the largest.
Eating, drinking and family time
Bar Down Tavern, at the base of Peak 7, serves breakfast and a casual mountain menu for lunch, après-ski and dinner, from 11am to 9pm. The Family Fun Center has arcade games, ping-pong and pool tables, and four private movie theatres can be reserved.
Our advice: choose a one- or two-bedroom residence with a balcony, ski from the Independence SuperChair and ride the gondola to town for dinner, and keep the grotto for late evening.
