About Airelles Val d'Isère
Airelles Val d’Isère is a ski-in, ski-out palace of 41 rooms, suites, apartments and a chalet, with interiors by Christophe Tollemer. The Airelles Spa by Guerlain covers 1,200 m² around a 20-metre indoor pool, and the restaurants run from Savoyard La Grande Ourse to Matsuhisa and the Italian Palladio.
Ski-in, ski-out
Airelles offers, in its own words, the ultimate ski-in, ski-out experience: you step from the ski lounge, equipped by Bernard Orcel, straight onto the snow. Inside, the architect Christophe Tollemer has given the house the feel of a grand chalet, and each guest chooses a fragrance for their room from Guerlain’s Eaux de Rituel.
The Airelles Spa by Guerlain
The spa covers 1,200 m². Its 20-metre indoor pool is made for calm swimming, and children have their own pool designed like a secret grotto, in a children-only area. There is a jacuzzi, a sauna and a hammam, and a Technogym gym with rowing machines, cross-trainers and treadmills. Treatment cabins include one for manicures and pedicures and one with horizontal body showers. The wellness area opens from 9.00 to 21.00 and treatments from 10.00 to 20.00.
The ultimate ski-in, ski-out experience, in the hotel’s words.
Rooms, suites and apartments
There are 41 rooms and suites, five private apartments and a chalet. They run from Premier and Deluxe rooms to junior suites, one- and two-bedroom suites and the Suite Bellevarde, with views over the snowy slopes and the village. The apartments, Chantemerle and Montmayeur among them, are furnished like family homes with fireplaces. A few steps away, Chalet Schuss has 250 m² over two floors, four en-suite bedrooms and its own kitchen.
Eating and drinking
La Grande Ourse cooks Savoyard dishes from local produce alongside truffle pasta and croque-monsieur, in a warm chalet room. Matsuhisa, Palladio (Italian) and Le Piaf complete the restaurants. The Bar serves pizza, arancini and cocktails through the day, and Le Bar Rouge and Le Fumoir are for the evening.
Families
The Kids Club has its own private cinema, and there is a hair salon and the Vanille & Lilas boutique.
Our advice: book a junior suite or an apartment with a fireplace for a family, swim before dinner, and keep one night each for La Grande Ourse and Matsuhisa.
