Le K2 Chogori, on Avenue du Prariond, is a boutique hotel of 21 rooms and suites named after the mountain K2, with views of Bellevarde, the village and the valley of Le Fornet. Its Goji Spa offers Nescens treatments, and Le Bottleneck cooks braised dishes and fondues created with a Meilleur Ouvrier de France cheesemaker.

A hotel named after a mountain

Le K2 Chogori stands at 143 Avenue du Prariond in Val d’Isère and takes its name from K2, whose Tibetan-inspired spirit runs through the house. Its suites look out to Bellevarde, the village and the valley of Le Fornet.

The Goji Spa

The Goji Spa by Nescens is named after the goji berry, which grows in the Himalayan hills. Treatments for face, body, hands and feet use Nescens products, and there is a fitness and sports room.

The suites

Every suite has a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with a double sink, bath and shower. Junior suites start at 48 m² on the ground floor. The Deluxe Suite measures 61 m², the Prestige Suites from 79 m² (with a sofa bed for two children up to 12), and the Chogori Suite 88 m², all with living and dining rooms and balconies over the village and its church.

Eating and drinking

Le Bottleneck is named after the famous passage on the ascent of K2. Executive chef Bastien Paysant braises meat, fish and vegetables, and the cheese and fondues were created with Bernard Mure-Ravaud, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France; Marc-André Guerquin-Kern reworks French pastry classics for dessert. Le 1954 and the bar complete the house.

Families

Children have the Kids Klub.

Our advice: book a Prestige Suite for a family or the Chogori Suite for the balcony, and reserve Le Bottleneck for a fondue night.
