About Hôtel Tsanteleina

The Tsanteleina opened in 1948 and has been run by the same family ever since, about 150 metres from the snow front with views of the Face de Bellevarde. Named after a 3,602-metre peak nearby, it has the 600 m² Pure Spa with a 28 °C pool and a two-room hammam, Brasserie M and the fireside M Bar.

A family house since 1948

The Tsanteleina opened in 1948 and takes its name from a 3,602-metre peak nearby; the same family has run it from the start. It stands at 1040 Avenue Olympique, in the heart of the resort, about 150 metres from the snow front and facing the Face de Bellevarde.

The Pure Spa

The spa covers 600 m². The pool is heated to 28 °C and the jacuzzi to 35 °C, and there is a sauna, a two-room hammam and a Technogym fitness room. Treatments are by Charme d’Orient, with oriental-inspired rituals, and SkinCeuticals.

A haven of relaxation in the heart of the mountains, in the hotel’s words.

Rooms and suites

Village rooms run from the Standard (16 m²) and Classic (21 m²) to the Superior (24 m²), the Junior Suite (32 m²) and the Village Suite (42 m²). Mountain rooms include the Classic (24 m²), the Classic and Superior Lounge rooms (24 and 32 m²), the Junior Suite (38 m², for five), the Mountain Suite (43 m²) and the Family Mountain Suite (56 m², for six). The hotel is not accessible to wheelchair users.

Eating and drinking

Brasserie M serves classic brasserie dishes, authentic and generous, and the M Bar has a fireplace for after dinner.

Our advice: ask for a Mountain room facing Bellevarde, walk to the snow front in ski boots, and end the day in the hammam.
