Sport Hotel stands at 1,850 metres in Soldeu, opposite the gondola to Grandvalira, with traditional high-mountain decor in which wood leads. It is the family hotel of the Sport Hotels resort, with a heated outdoor pool, an indoor and outdoor Mini Club, and access to the Sport Wellness Mountain Spa.

Opposite the gondola

Sport Hotel faces the gondola that rises from Soldeu into Grandvalira, so the walk to the lift is a matter of seconds. Inside, the decor is traditional high-mountain style, with wood throughout.

The spa and pool

The hotel has a heated outdoor pool, and guests can use the Sport Wellness Mountain Spa, which spreads over five floors and about 5,000 m², with a water circuit and treatment rooms. The spa is for guests over 13, and access is charged as an extra.

Rooms

Standard rooms measure about 24 m², with or without mountain views; triples, about 28 m², add a single bed, and quadruples, about 40 m², add a sofa bed for families of four. Cots are available for babies up to two.

Eating and drinking

The restaurant is a buffet with daily show cooking, with vegetarian dishes and children’s favourites. For an evening out, the restaurants and bars of the Sport Hotels resort, among them The Villager pub and the Hermitage dining rooms, are close by.

Families

This is the resort’s family address: an indoor and outdoor Mini Club, ponies and quads for children, and rooms that take a family of four.

Our advice: book a quadruple room for a family of four, put the children in the Mini Club for a morning, and take the gondola from across the road at opening time.
