Borovets Hills is a five-star spa hotel in the pine forest of the high, quiet part of Borovets, 100 metres from the Yastrebets piste, with a ski school and equipment hire at hand. Its spa has a water zone, a sauna, a steam bath, salt rooms and a Turkish bath, and its rooms run from doubles to two-bedroom apartments with fireplaces and mountain views.

Above the crowds

Borovets Hills sits among the pines in the high, quiet part of the resort, away from the noise of the centre and 100 metres from the Yastrebets piste. The hotel’s own ski depot is stocked with ski and snowboard equipment, has a wardrobe for yours, and arranges instructors for all levels.

The spa

The wellness centre has a water zone, a steam bath, a sauna, salt rooms, a Turkish bath and a bath-tub ritual, with massage and relaxation rooms, cosmetic rooms and a gym.

Rooms and apartments

Double rooms come with a double bed or twins, and there are studios, one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom apartments, the last with a fireplace and mountain views.

Eating and drinking

The 130-seat restaurant serves a buffet or a seasonal à la carte menu, and the lobby bar, large and comfortable, has a fireplace for coffee and a book.

Families

In winter a babysitter with a teaching background looks after the youngest guests; in summer there is an outdoor playground.

Our advice: book a two-bedroom apartment for the fireplace, collect your skis from the depot and be on Yastrebets in minutes, then end the day in the Turkish bath.
