About Saint Hubertus Resort
Saint Hubertus Resort, designed by the architect Savin Couëlle, stands at the foot of the Matterhorn above Breuil-Cervinia, with views from its suites, some with stone fireplaces and private kitchens. It has a panoramic pool and saunas, a Technogym gym, the reservation-only Saint Hubertus restaurant, a Champagnerie and the Ginepro Bar.
At the foot of the Matterhorn
Saint Hubertus is the work of the architect Savin Couëlle, known for his organic, sculpted buildings, and it sits among the pines with the Matterhorn ahead. Suites rather than rooms are the rule, with hotel service and in-room dining.
Pool, saunas and gym
The pool looks over the peaks, beside the resort’s springs and fireplaces, and the saunas are panoramic too. The Technogym gym opens every day from 7.00 to 20.00. The spa is for resort guests; outside visitors may come by appointment when they book a massage.

The suites
There are six suite categories: Prestige, Superior, Superior Plus, Family, Deluxe and Deluxe Plus. The Superior Plus, about twice the size of the Superior, has a crackling stone fireplace; the Family suite is about twice the Prestige; and the Deluxe Plus has its own kitchen.
Eating and drinking
The Saint Hubertus restaurant is small and opens by reservation only, with priority for guests; Andrea Rizzo cooks Italian and Aosta Valley dishes from small local producers, including handmade filled pasta. The Champagnerie, next to the wine cellar, is equally intimate; its list of Italian and international wines is chosen by the owner, Federico Maquignaz, a sommelier. The Ginepro Bar has Matterhorn views, two large fireplaces, signature cocktails and grappas, and the climate-controlled wine library hosts guided tastings.
Our advice: book a Superior Plus for the stone fireplace, reserve the restaurant and the Champagnerie when you book your suite, and take your aperitif by the fire in the Ginepro Bar.
