About Hotel Quintessence
Hotel Quintessence is a small boutique hotel of suites on the shore of Lake Tremblant, a few minutes from the resort. Its suites have wood-burning fireplaces and lake views, and guests have Spa Sans Sabots, with a steam bath, sauna, whirlpool and infinity pool, and Restaurant La Quintessence, open daily all year.
On Lake Tremblant
Hotel Quintessence stands at 3004 Chemin de la Chapelle, on the shore of Lake Tremblant and a few minutes from the resort. It is a boutique hotel with a small number of suites, and valet parking greets you on arrival.
Spa Sans Sabots
Spa Sans Sabots offers massages, treatments and yoga, and before or after a treatment you can use the steam bath, sauna, whirlpool and infinity pool, with an exercise room for the more athletic. The outdoor pool is not heated in winter: it is kept at about 60°F (16°C) as a Nordic experience, and warmed in summer. Use of the spa and pool on departure day depends on occupancy, so ask in advance.

The suites
Suites are open-plan and generous, most with a king bed, a wood-burning fireplace and French doors to a balcony or the garden. They range from 700 sq ft lake-view suites to a 753 sq ft ground-floor suite opening onto the garden and lake, 760 sq ft suites for families of up to five, and 800 sq ft suites with bay windows over the water. The largest has 1,117 sq ft with a separate bedroom and dining area, another 1,050 sq ft, and the top suite has three wood-burning fireplaces. A heritage cabin in the woods, with its original brick fireplace, sits steps from the main building.
Eating and drinking
Restaurant La Quintessence, with views over Lake Tremblant, is open every day of the year: Sunday to Wednesday 7am–9pm and Thursday to Saturday 7am–10pm. There is also a wine bar, and meals can be served in your suite.
Our advice: book a lake-view suite with a fireplace, take the Nordic plunge after the sauna on a winter evening, and dine at La Quintessence with the lake in view.
