Ullrhaus is a design hotel of 40 rooms and suites on Alte Arlbergstraße in the centre of St. Anton, a few steps from the Galzig and Rendl cable cars. It has a 17-metre indoor pool, saunas and a steam bath, and its restaurant, Ullrs Gourmetstube, holds one MICHELIN star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Austria.

Next to the lifts

Ullrhaus stands at Alte Arlbergstraße 2, in the centre of St. Anton, with the Galzig and Rendl cable cars a few steps away. It is a design hotel of stripped-back natural materials, which it calls genuine luxury, and its philosophy is summed up in three phrases: Nordic air, Japanese spirit, Alpine soul.

The spa

The indoor pool is 17 metres long, made for laps as well as floating, and opens from 6.00. There is a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna and a steam bath, and a relaxation room of loungers where tea, light snacks and Tyrolean spring water are served. The fitness room has NOHRD equipment, with new Technogym cardio and strength machines planned for winter 2026–27.

Rooms and suites

The 40 rooms and suites start with the Double Room Superior of about 30 m² and the Junior Suites of about 36 m², one with a panorama sun terrace on top. The Family Suite has two bedrooms in about 48 m², the Superior Suite about 50 m² and the Grand Suite about 60 m², with a private sauna. For groups there are three serviced apartments on top: the Rendl Suite (about 120 m²), the Ullr Rooftop Suite (about 115 m², with a private sauna and sun terrace) and the Galzig Suite (about 145 m², three bedrooms and a private sauna), all with Miele kitchens and wine cabinets.

Eating and drinking

Ullrs Gourmetstube opens from Thursday to Saturday for a nine-course tasting menu, with a wine or alcohol-free pairing; it holds one MICHELIN star (MICHELIN Guide Austria 2026), and booking is essential. Hotel guests on half board choose from a four-course menu each evening, and the Alpine breakfast, with regional produce and eggs cooked to order, runs from 7.30 to 10.30.

For skiers

Each room has a lockable ski locker with a heated boot dryer, open around the clock, and reception sells lift passes.

Our advice: book a Junior Suite on Top or the Grand Suite with its own sauna, swim at 6.00 before first lifts, and reserve the Gourmetstube for a Thursday so you can ski the next day.
