About Hotel Alte Post
Hotel Alte Post occupies a 17th-century building on Dorfstraße, in the village centre of St. Anton, where, the tourist office recalls, Hannes Schneider first taught the guests of the house. Rooms and suites are individually furnished, many with a balcony and tiled stove, and the wellness area has a 13 × 7 m indoor pool, a children’s pool and saunas.
In the village centre
The Alte Post stands at Dorfstraße 11, in the heart of St. Anton, in a building from the 17th century. Ski history runs through it: the tourist office recalls that Hannes Schneider first taught the hotel’s guests to ski here.
The wellness area
The indoor pool measures 13 by 7 metres and is kept at around 30 °C, with a children’s pool and a whirlpool beside it. The sauna area has a herbal sauna, a steam room, a brine and rock-crystal grotto, an infrared cabin, an ice grotto, a fresh-air room and a Kneipp basin, with a quiet room and a fitness room. Treatments include facials, body treatments, massages, baths and hand and foot care.

Rooms and suites
Rooms run from doubles and De Luxe doubles to the Galzig Junior Suite, the Family Suite, the Alte Post Family Room and the Alte Post Suite. Many have a balcony, a sitting corner and a tiled stove, and all are non-smoking.
Our advice: ask for a room with a balcony and a tiled stove, take the children to the pool after ski school, and enjoy being able to walk everywhere in the village.
