About Suvretta House

Suvretta House is a grand hotel above St. Moritz, ski-in and ski-out on the Corviglia, with 176 rooms and suites looking over the Engadin lakes. Its Suvretta Spa covers 4,670 m² over three and a half floors, with a heated outdoor pool and a 25-metre indoor pool, and it runs the Grand Restaurant, Anton’s Bar and the Chasellas and Trutz mountain restaurants. The winter season runs from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027.

On its own hillside

Suvretta House stands alone on the slope above St. Moritz, with the Engadin lakes below and the Suvretta piste at the door. The style, as the hotel puts it, is Alpine chic and timeless elegance with British understatement. Winter runs from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027.

The Suvretta Spa

The spa sits at over 1,800 metres and covers 4,670 m² over three and a half floors. The heated outdoor pool, 17.5 metres long at 34 °C, seems to merge with the valley, with massage loungers, a foot-massage area and five levels of hydro-jets. The 25-metre indoor pool, at 28.5 °C, keeps its diving board, and children have their own pool at 32 °C. There is a hot-and-cold hydrotherapy area, a cold plunge at 15 °C, a herbal sauna at 60 °C, a Finnish sauna at 85–90 °C and an infrared room. Treatments use Cellcosmet, ilā and Sisley, and there is Pilates reformer, a spa lounge and a kids’ spa.

Alpine chic and timeless elegance meet British understatement, in the hotel’s words.

Rooms and suites

There are 176 rooms and suites, many with connecting doors. South-facing doubles of about 35 m² look over the lakes; rooms facing Corviglia and Piz Nair run to 35–40 m²; Junior Suites measure 50–55 m² and Deluxe Suites 65 m². At the top, suites of about 90 m², 100 m² and 130 m² have salons, two bathrooms and terraces over the lakes. Room service runs around the clock.

Eating and drinking

The Grand Restaurant, with oak columns and a coffered ceiling, serves chef Fabrizio Zanetti’s market-fresh French cooking, with dishes finished at the table; jacket and tie are expected for gentlemen. Afternoon tea is served in the lobby, and Anton’s Bar, named after the founder Anton Bon, is Art Deco, with house gin and tonics and Suvretta cigars. The Club Bar has a tiled stove and Café Couscous. On the mountain, Chasellas, at the foot of Corviglia, serves regional lunches and, in the evening, chef Marco Kind’s Mediterranean menu; Trutz, by the Suvretta-Randolins lift, has a famous sun terrace.

Families

The Kiddy-Club welcomes children from three, with multilingual staff, and in winter an ice sculpture with caves and slides in the garden. There is a children’s restaurant, the Teddy Club.

Our advice: book a south-facing room over the lakes, ski to the door, and keep one night for dinner at Chasellas.
