About Manor Vail Lodge
Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail’s original luxury properties, at the base of Golden Peak, a short walk from the chairlift, rental shop and ski school. It offers studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums and penthouses, two heated pools, an on-site spa and two restaurants.
At the foot of Golden Peak
Manor Vail sits on the quiet eastern side of Vail Village, at the base of Golden Peak, with Chair 6, the Riva Bahn, the children’s ski school and rentals a short stroll away and Gondola One about five minutes’ walk. Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater are neighbours in summer. It is a natural choice for families.
Pools, hot tubs and the spa
The lodge has two heated outdoor pools and four hot tubs, open all year: one pool and two hot tubs on the north side and the same again on the south. BioMed Spa Vail, on site, offers massages, facials and an oxygen bar, and the fitness centre with Peloton bikes is included for guests.
Vail’s premier luxury condominium hotel, in the lodge’s words, steps from the slopes.
Rooms and penthouses
Every unit is a condominium with a kitchen. Studios have a fireplace and a private patio facing Golden Peak, Gore Creek or the Gore Range; one-bedroom condos add a separate bedroom and a balcony or patio; two- and three-bedroom condos have large living and dining rooms and views of Vail Mountain or the creek; and premium penthouses top the range. Many balconies have grills, and each unit has a ski storage locker.
Eating and drinking
A daily hot breakfast buffet is included in your stay. The Fitz is the lodge’s bar and restaurant for elevated comfort food, Colorado drafts and creative cocktails, with creek and mountain views and a family-friendly room. Ridge + River is the modern mountain dining room for slow evenings, with thoughtful cuts, seasonal sides and a well-chosen wine list; it opens for the winter season in December. Après-ski cookies and hot chocolate are included for guests.
Getting around
In-town transport, included for guests, and the Town of Vail shuttle take you across the village, and in summer four cruiser bikes are available for guests.
Our advice: book a two-bedroom condo on the Gore Creek side for families, put the children in ski school at Golden Peak, and swim in the south-side pool after skiing. Reserve Ridge + River for a quiet dinner.
