About Alpin Resort Hotel
The Alpin opened in 1976 in Poiana Brașov, its pyramid-shaped central building compared by many, the hotel says, to the Titanic. The resort joins the Alpin Hotel, the adults-only Casa Alpin and a family aparthotel, with the Vitarium SPA, a semi-Olympic indoor pool, the Tosca and À Propos restaurants and a ski shuttle to every ski area in the resort.
A landmark of 1976
The Alpin celebrates fifty years in 2026. Its central building, opened in 1976, has a pyramid shape that many compare to the Titanic, in the hotel’s words, with views of the mountains. In winter a shuttle, included for guests, runs to all of Poiana Brașov’s ski areas and back, and there is a storage room for skis.
The Vitarium SPA and pools
The Vitarium SPA sits among birch and fir trees, open daily, 10:00–22:00, for treatments. In the main building, a semi-Olympic indoor pool and a children’s pool, renovated in 2026, are open to all hotel guests; the wet and dry saunas and the jacuzzi are in the spa area. Pools, saunas and jacuzzi open 10:00–20:00, from 12:00 on Mondays. A V.I.P. Jacuzzi Lounge opens from noon to midnight, and the fitness room from 07:00 to 22:00.

Where to stay
The resort counts 700 places to stay across connected buildings. The Alpin Hotel is the central building with mountain views; Casa Alpin has 30 adults-only units with interiors renovated in 2026; and the Alpin Aparthotel has spacious apartments for families with children.
Eating and drinking
À Propos serves breakfast and dinner with live music; Tosca is the classic international restaurant, seating up to 200 with private booths. The Cigar Lounge opens from 15:00 to midnight, and cocktails are served in the lobby lounge.
Families
Children have a kindergarten, a Teen Club and Alpin Magic Land, and the Ski Academy has instructors in winter. Formula X sim racing and escape rooms fill bad-weather days.
Our advice: couples should book Casa Alpin, families the aparthotel; take the shuttle to the slopes, then swim lengths in the semi-Olympic pool and dine at Tosca.
