Hotel Rose is a family hotel in a central but quiet spot in Mayrhofen, about five minutes’ walk from the centre and ten from the cable cars, run by the Simon Kröll family, with a history back to 1900. It has saunas, a fitness room and a children’s playroom, and the family also runs Simon’s Berg- & Schistadl on the mountain.

A family house since 1900

The Rose stands in a quiet part of Mayrhofen, about five minutes on foot from the centre and ten from the cable cars, with the ski bus stopping beside the car park. Its history goes back to 1900, and the Simon Kröll family runs it.

Wellness

The wellness area has several saunas, an ice fountain and experience showers, cosy relaxation rooms and infrared loungers, and a fitness room with cardio and strength equipment.

Every day begins with a generous breakfast buffet, in the hotel’s words.

Rooms

There are double and family rooms, and suites and apartments with a separate living area for families who want more space.

Eating and drinking

Each day starts with a generous breakfast buffet. The kitchen cooks Tyrolean specialities and international dishes, with themed evenings, and there is a pizzeria and a terrace. On the slopes, the family runs Simon’s Berg- & Schistadl, a mountain hut in the Zillertal Arena.

Families

Children have a playroom with a knight’s castle, a slide and a climbing wall, plus table tennis and table football, and the Adventure Pool and playgrounds are nearby.

Our advice: book a suite with a living area if you travel with children, take the ski bus from the door, and stop for lunch at Simon’s Berg- & Schistadl.
