Kalavrita Botanica stands at the entrance to the town of Kalavryta, set out like an amphitheatre. Its recently renovated maisonette suites, for two to five guests, have fireplaces and mountain or nature views, and the Botanica Spa uses Greek plant oils such as lavender and rosemary.

Botanica sits at the entrance to Kalavryta, arranged like an amphitheatre on the slope, within easy reach of the Helmos ski centre.

The Botanica Spa

The spa is built on gentle treatments with plant and essential oils from Greek nature, lavender and rosemary among them, in a space of running water, calm music and natural materials. Treatments run from short massages to a 90-minute holistic ritual. The spa opens 16:30–21:30; its pages say both daily and Wednesday to Monday, so check before you book.

Suites

The rooms have been recently renovated. There is a Double Junior Suite, and maisonette suites for two, three, four and five guests, each with a fireplace, a spacious living area, cotton fabrics and views of the mountains or the countryside.

Breakfast

Breakfast brings quality morning fare, coffee, herbal infusions and selected local wines, served in rooms made for conversation and rest.

Our advice: book a maisonette suite for the fire, ski Helmos in the morning, and reserve an evening massage for when you come down.
